Default WARRANT ISSUED FOR THE ARREST OF F1 DRIVER EDDIE IRVINE

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former Formula One driver Eddie Irvine, after he was caught speeding on a scooter with no licence and no insurance, court officials have revealed.

The 38-year-old was arrested by police in London on July 24 this year for driving at over 30mph on a scooter through the city's Hyde Park, with no scooter licence and no insurance.

I hate people who drive a scooter through a park. Terrible nuisance.

I thought Eddie was such a playboy. Being arrested for driving through a park on a rattling toilet on wheels hasn't really got the allure of being pulled over along the coast of Southern France in an expensive convertible with coke all over your face while in the company a fashion model. It's a bit pathetic... LOL

No, the warrent for his arrest is not for driving the scooter, but he did not go to court, it is for that reason a warrent for his arrest has been issued.

Ouch. What a mess. If he wasn't such a high profile celebrity, maybe they wouldn't have felt so compelled to nail him. Perhaps they want to make an example of him...
