Notice how the time of the Corvette went from 12.5 to 12.1 in the same session... while the 911 went 11.9 both times.

This is probably the most fantastic illustration of how the driver is the one variable that is the most difficult to keep constant.

Now what makes you think the BMI folks are more familiar with 911's than Corvettes ?

Oh - and hopefully the 13s NSX puts to rest any idea that the NSX is a fast car

All those cars are pretty darn impressive, the pace is just blistering!
To see them like that is one thing, but out on the open road when they plant the right foot, its amazing to see how they pick up and go

RC - IMO anycar in the 13's and under is pretty damn quick!

Amazing traction and of course tiptronic helps a bit in keeping leveled performance.. that said, in real life such car will bust many asses being quite easy to launch it like a rocket!

The Z06 is probably up to it as far as in-gear acceleration goes, but on standing starts, the 997TT won't be easy to beat

13 dead isnt a fast car? seen as it was less than a second off what the vette ran with what? 200hp less?

not that its relevant to the 1/4 mile, but saying the NSX isnt a fast car, doesnt it pretty much do the same time at the nurburgring as the new Z06..........with again,200hp less?
