Default 'Ring Photos (May 29)

Well crappy day here in the Eifel actually crappy 3-4 weeks of rain, high winds and when we are lucky only about 2-3 hours of dry conditions a day. Went to the 'Ring late because as I said rain was playing a factor in driving my Porsche on the twisties but we made it to spot a few pieces of eye candy I thought you would all enjoy. It's not much...

Did you lap the Boxster?

It doesn't sound like you did - probably bes given that its so fresh

How many miles have you done in it now? If i had a nice car like that, i'd never stop driving it, lol.

Nice yellow GT - the Tessta isn't really my bag, especially with those rims and the black skirts :bah:

Don't worry TT, I didn't lap the Porsche. I did ask the wife many times though if i should and of course she talked sense into me. One it was getting ready to pour some rain on the track and 2 the car still hasnt hit the magical 2000 miles so that it can breathe all the way up to 7200 RPM

I will be sure to announce it when i do take it to the 'Ring for its virgin lap so maybe one of you folks catch it on the cam

As there are always many beautiful cars at the 'Ring the yellow Ford GT is my personal first in the flesh. It was the "wow" car of the day.

Actually IMO for a first lap it's even wiser to go out in a car which isn't fully break in. Anyway going above 60 or 70% of you and your cars potential on a first lap, wet or not, is a big mistake... and anyway at the Ring you can have fun even at slow pace, so IMO a bit of a pity not to go out for a slow lap
