Default ehem... I saw the Pixar movie "Cars"... does this

And I really liked it

I'm gonna go watch it again, it was fun

I had a great time trying to figure out what model and mark each car was, just so many of them!

I liked it too. It would have been better, as I said before, had it been rolex 24 hours at least (better, ALM).

Since we have a "movies" section I guess the topic has to go there

And can't wait to go to the theater to see it myself too

The part with the 430 towards the end was great.

just seen it myself and it was surprisingly good.

Just out of curiosity, can anyone else tell me what car the silver race commentator was? it looked like an F430 at first but then when the red F430 showed up near the end it looked different than the silver one.

TT: doh, stupid me. There's so many sub-sections at JW that I completely forgot there was one even for movies.

btw: I asked over on asphalte.ch if other members wanted to make an "Asphalte Sortie" to go and watch Cars together I wanna see it again, so I thought why not?

nan so far has replied and said that it's a good idea as well, so we just need to find a date and time to get as many people as possible to come along

I'm sure you guys who have seen the movie know, but for those of you who don't, the voice of the 430 in the movie is Michael Schumachers. Apparently he did it in 1 take!

I read somewhere (musta been Top Gear magazine), that even JC gives his voice to a car in a scene

I'm gonna go through the credits to see if I can find out which one... but last night I Was too busy watching the animations on the credits to be able to pay attention to the rest of the stuff.

He did, but it was in a scene that wasn't used.

MOTORMOUTH Jeremy Clarkson has zoomed off with a major film role.

The Sun columnist and Top Gear presenter voiced a key character in Disney’s new animated blockbuster Cars.

Produced by the boffins behind Toy Story, The Incredibles and Finding Nemo, it tells the tale of rookie racing car Lightning McQueen, voiced by Owen Wilson.

Paul Newman — who runs his own Nascar Team — is wise old muscle car Doc Hudson. And Jezza, 46, is Lightning’s wheeler-dealer agent Harv.

A Disney spokeswoman revealed: “Jeremy voiced his parts in London with director John Lasseter at the end of May but was only told this week he is definitely in. It is one of the biggest roles in the movie.”

The American version of Cars went straight to No 1 at the box office last weekend, taking £34million in three days.

But Lasseter wanted a British voice for Herv when the film opens here on July 28.
