sorry, but the roush really isn't that great, and the GT H isn't a aftermarket car

And you would know because you've driven both extensively on the tack?

It's just his opinion, and he never said the Hertz car was aftermarket.

From what I've heard the Roush is better around the track than any production mustang.

i'm not saying he is specifically wrong to prefer the roush over the stock GT-H, as the Roush is much faster around a track.

but Roush isn't exactly straight forward, nor the best price/performance option in tuned mustangs.

FYI, i have driven both the stage 1 and 2 current gen. Roush Mustangs, and while the stage 2 feels quicker, the stage 1 is simply body kit, with nothing special performance wise... its all trickery if you want a superior handling mustang... you either go stage 3, or you order the parts yourself.

Saleen is just as competant around a track, and with 465 available hp, or if your crazy, 550.... its just the purer option, both in terms of quality materials, power delivery, handling, and execution.

GTH really doesn't compare one way or the other

looove that ad.

As for the Rousch Mustang convo above, I'd say go for a Saleen, perhaps the new PJ edition. Watts rear link suspension for the win!
