First race of a Lamborghini Gallardo GTR next weekend at Nürburgring!
Untermerzbach/Germany, 5th. October 2005 —— The already rich history of the Nürburgring will see an exciting new chapter during next Saturdays VLN round : The first ever Lamborghini Gallardo is due to start in the Endurance Championship. The newly formed squad Lambo-Racing will enter the car, team principals Stephan Rösler & Andreas Kitzow dreamed of entering a Gallardo ever since their successful Nürburgring 24hrs 2005 in a privateer BMW M3. "The Gallardo is a fantastic sportscar , our goal is to show off its potential in front of a big crowd", says Kitzerow.

The two Lamborghini enthusiasts asked known racecar builder Reiter Engineering to build a race ready Gallardo to VLN regulations. The result is a fantastic sportscar , powered by a five litre engine pulling out 500hp. Another proven partner is Lingmann Motorsport : The VLN experienced squad is supporting the team trackside while team principals Rösler & Kitzerow will also drive the car.

The goal for the first outing is to get more testing kilometers on the car, a first shakedown at the Eurospeedway Lausitz can be considered as success : "The car felt very good, although we still have a lot to learn", says Rösler. The expectations for 2006: "Good results during the VLN Season, and to survive the Nürburgring 24hrs 2006. And maybe , if we are a little lucky , a spot in the Top 10".

The world premiere of the Lamborghini Gallardo GTR on 7./8. October 2005 in the context of VLN long-distance-championship on the Nuerburgring with approximately 26,000 spectators ran more than successfully for team Lambo-Racing.

The team finished this four-hour race as 14th in over-all classification, with an impressing 2.position in its class SP8.

Immediate success
for the Lamborghini Gallardo GTR!
Untermerzbach/Germany, 10th October 2005 —— The first ever outing of Team Lambo-Racing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in front of over 26,000 spectators was an instant success. The car turned into a crowd favourite in no time and was immediately on speed on track. The car started from the 39th position, mainly because a spin in qualifying which meant no damage to the car, but was able to make up many positions during the opening hour. Stephan Rösler & Andreas Kitzerow both drove two stints each during the four hour race and finished on an impressive 14th position overall, second in class.

„Of course we are very pleased with the result, we mainly entered the race to get some testing kilometres because the car was finished only a few days ago. We still have lots of setup work to do but to be on the pace immediately makes it even more fun”, said Kitzerow. „After my spin during the qualifying session I first thought I totally damaged the car, but luckily I didn’t touch anything. I am happy about this result in our roll-out event.“ added Rösler. Next outing for the car will be the tenth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Championship (VLN) on the 22th October . „Don’t expect too much, the next race will again be mostly about improving the setup of the car“, pointed out both pilots. "Reiter to develop Gallardo GT3 entry. 04/10/2005

German motorsport specialist Reiter Engineering has released the first images of its GT3 class Lamborghini Gallardo sportscar, which will be available for customers to campaign next season.

The 500bhp+ machine is being developed in both four-wheel and two-wheel drive formats, and the first model successfully completed a two-day shakedown test in the hands of the newly founded Lambo-Racing customer team last weekend. The 4WD car was developed and built at the customer's request, with Reiter completing the work in time for it to prepare for the start of the 2006 VLN Nordschleife Championship.

The image, taken in the early stages of development, clearly shows the distinctive Lamborghini styling that has attracted orders and further interest from privateer teams, with the first cars scheduled to be available in February.

Further technical details will be made available over the next two months, while a ‘street' version of the Gallardo GT3R will follow within the next month."

The bull enters again the arena: coming Saturday, 22nd of October 2005, the Lamborghini Gallardo GTR of Lambo-Racing GmbH runs for the second time after its world-premiere approximately two weeks ago on the Nuerburgring test kilometres in the context of the VLN long-distance championship.
