for the power of the WR1 the aceleration seems pretty weak, the US spec sti is much quicker and has less power 300 bhp. Strange. The Type 25 is a beast! I cant Imagine an Impreza with 350 bhp crazy.

Type 25! 350bhp and 356 ft-lbs of torque. Holy mofo That makes the Type 25 my favorite of the bunch!
Thanks for the scan.

Thank you TT! I am also a bit dissapointed with the WR1's performance. I thought it was going to be the fastest Impreza ever. I read somewhere that its acceleration from 0-60 was 4.25 seconds, faster than a Ferrari 360 Modena. Evo magazine could only manage 5.3. Whats up with that? On the other hand, I was extremely impressed with the Spec C. Now that is one fast ass machine! I think thats the Impreza for me.

Man! I didn't realize there were so many flavours available. Even the Mitsubishi Evo is equally confusing - both seem to come up with new model names every quarter!

Well you are one of the laziest persons ever.. and if you would bother, not to read, but to take a quick glance, you will see the last page has a nice table with all the data ...

I wish that Mitsubishi would make a 2-door version of the EVO just like the P1. Feels much sportier!

WR1 seems a bit slow to me, even the 276PS 2.5L Turbo US STi can finish 0-60mph in 4.9s, a 316ps 2.0L WR1 can only do 5.3s?
Anything to do with tyre/test conditon or even gearing?
