I also heard elsewhere that due to Hamilton's off-track 'excursion,' the cooling system in the gearbox was compromised which led to overheating ??? Personally, I think driver error contributed to the problem...

Honestly, I don't think we'll ever know.

yep, i've seen that (i mean towing, pushing, etc..) number of times in the usa (say champ cars series) but i dont remember anything like that in f1 :/
pure f1 driver should say `fuck it, my bad, shit happens` and then shut the engine down, take off the steering wheel, get out of the car and walk away in peace 8) 8)

the car can be pushed by the marshals on the track .. the rules dosnt say the car cant be lifted back onto the track .. nor dose it say the car can be lifted onto the track
