We will have to wait for new the 7 series quite some time. And the new S Class is coming out at the end of the year or at the beginning of 2005 as far as I remember...

I`v seen coupel of facelifted 7series pics and it looks ugly.

Poor bmw and 7 series- sales are dismal compared to expectations becoz of the fuck up by bangle, they are going to cry even harder when the new S-class is launched in 2005. It apparently takes technology to the limits with the first 45volt fiber optic cable network fitted to a car, HIFI by Bang and Olufsen, automatic braking (full power, compared to 30% offered by today`s systems) and assisted collision avoidance. The interior wil be much roomier than the current S, with an extended wheelbase and similar length. overhangs will be much shorter off course.
Brakes will be 14 inch ceramics and smallest wheels wil be 18 inches and possible 19-21 inches on V12 models. No V6s will be offered in the S for the first time. and most powerful engine will be from the Maybach. Full length electrochromatic roof will be an expensive option. baseline price is estimated at $85000.

At least BM have the V10 M5 which is gonna Kick ASS

yea, if you like how it looks. im an avid opponent of the new bangle crap. and a v10 doesnt save the shit in my book.

however, a 2006 S-class sounds appealing . Is the new power braking system already in use in the SLR by any chance? I seem to remember Richard on top gear saying he didnt like it because brakes were either on or off, there was no variation.

S-class will be introduced by late 2005...
