Another one of Gat's Storys....
I went out in Islington London last Saturday. I went to the Islington Accademy for a Drum n Bass night. First time id been to a dnb night in ages....
I was meeting a mate out in one of the pubs at 9ish.
Just before I left i decided that i needed to get a head start and get a bit pissed.
I found 1/2 a bottle of wine which i downed straight out of the bottle, then I nicked 2 500ml Ciders from a Housemate which i downed on the way up there.
So i met my mate in the pub, had a few drinks.....good time etc.
We then left for the club, I was still ok....bit loud, but enjoying myself.
Got in the club, it was cool. Some real dark dnb to danse to.
About an hour into it.........my memory go's.
Next thing i remember, im getting off a random night bus in north london!
At this stage i sort of came back to my senses.
I must have left the club or was thrown out, I must have got on the 1st Night bus i saw, and got off at a random stop.
I asked some Guys the best way back to Wimbledon....They just laughed hystericaly.....'Your in North London mate, your fucking miles away'
So I make my way up this hill.....and get to a High St. I have no idea where it was but it was completely dead (3am at this stage).
Then I see a Taxi pull up.....so i run over to it to ask where the hell i am, and Michelle Collins jumps out!. She used to play Cindy in Eastenders. (English people will know who she is).
She obviously felt sorry for me as i was obviously the complete wrong side of london and on foot. Anyway she sorted me out, pointed me in the right direction and chatted for a bit. She was very nice and she even stayed out to help me while her mates ran into some flat.
So.....Got a bus back to central london, Got a bus to Vauxhall, Got a bus to Wimbledon.....then made the walk home to my door.
I got in at 6.45 am. Which is ridiculous considering i lost my memory arround 12/1 that night.
But was a bit random to get helped by a celeb...!

LOL next time I'm home I'll PM you Coombsie - I've never been to Dellers cos I moved away just before it opened. Wouldn't mind meeting up for a beer. Parents live on Cheddon Road (right at the top, not the dodgy bit at the bottom - although we lived there when I was about 8 or 9 - George St in fact, and it wasn't quite so dodgy)

Well, I said Taunton.....But my parents actually live in Wellington.
But when i come home i go out in taunton, and yes....ive been to dellas quite a few times.
Tho now i prefer ether, I know the couple who run it and the let me in free etc...
Used to work in Halfords for a year or two, fitting car sterios and working on parts.
Dont you think the 'McDonalds' krew are hilarious.....every friday and saturday...caining 1st gear in the car park in their nova gte's (if they can afford them)
heheh, jeez, i was caught up in all that for a bit.....mind you, some friends did have rather nice cars.
And Fulham is near me in london, I live in Wimbledon....so Earls Court is very close (for the MPH show)

Yeah, charlie was well into his bikes, he went to my school till about the age of 16, then left, so i never saw him that often afterwards.
VERY small world.
You probably saw me at some point if you worked there whilst colin did. I used to frequent the place with me mate (he's 6'+ im 5'8 and slightly wider!) what car did you drive? Mines in my sig, and me mate had a blue saxo. (this was like 2 years back)

I had an AXGT (come on....cheap as chips, fast as fish, made out of paper).
I also had a 205 GTI (a-like...my first car 1.2)
Now i have a 106 xsi (again, student, cheap, handles great)
I plan to run the 106 into the ground....save up, possibly get a loan. Then get something decent for the first time in my life.
Cant say i remember a blue saxo, there were so many about 2/3 years ago.
One friend had a very low red vts with white momo's, that was quite nice.
Most of my friends had R5 Turbos, Escort RST, Fiesta RST, Saxo's, the usual boy racer cheap thrills cars.
Im more into sports cars now, so caterham, elise, vxt....something like that would do me fine.
Gonna have to start saving now......

What colour were your cars? Cus if you were raggin it round taunton for the first 2 years of driving then we most probably passed on the roads once or twice. I mean i raced that bloke in his lancia delta integrale. ( just after he had an engine rebuild i think).
A low red VTS with white wheels does seem to ring a bell, my mate had a very low saxo VTR on TSW 6 spoke rims, then he got a black Mk2 VTR which he lowered on toora wheels.
I remember racing a bloke in a white CRX 1.6i a few times, and a bloke in a white civic, both had Duel exit exhausts. One of me mates had a 5 door black focus too, lowered on alloys etc.
Im gettin tired of the 'modified car scene' in the boy racer sense. Although i still enjoy driving my car. I REALLY want a focus RS aswell, they are quick for what they are!
