the game is pretty much exactly like the old CS but wit prettier graphics. there is also a single player version where you would battle again the terrorist in different maps. it play like a story mode.

^ no not that much. I have had this and finished cz condition zero...

let me tell you guys IT SUCKS. The only improvement is the graphics. Notice I said improvement, not even the GOOD thing. It has NO good thing. For a game of with such a name (Counter Strike) and being so new (actually not even out) the graphics should be much better. Max 2, Unreal II, even Max 1 in my oppinion has better graphics. I dont know what is wrong with that cs condition zero. I hope that all I have seen is because it still isnt out. I mean you cant even shoot lights or cans or anything. NOTHING will blow up. That being said, head shots dont exists.

I also got HL2 now that is what I call improovement. If they had put half the energy on condition zero that they have in HL2, it would have been better. Unless condition zero is better when its out, there is no way I will pay a cent for it.

EDIT: I'd take cs 1.6 over condition zero by a LOT

How is HL2? I never bothered downloading and compiling it myself. From what I hear the alpha is very buggy and almost non-playable.

HL2 does not have to be compiled and run. There is a Beta version which you can play by double clicking on the map files. HL2 rocks it is gonna be a great game. Mooving objects, dropping objects, I mean, there is a lot of phisics involved in that game. A lot of interaction. It's gonna be great.

Condition Zero, on the other hand, is boring. It is a stand alone version. I think it was developed by different people than those who did regular counter strike. Condition Zero is not out yet. It is going to have a single player and a multiplayer. I have played its single player and it was boring as hell. When you tried to shoot the guys, they wer just too fast... and no matter how slow you went, stealth is not a factor. As soon as you were on their sight, no matter how far away, you get shot. Many times, these guys act so dumb that start running instead of shooting. And shooting the head doesnt make any difference than shooting the body. For what I have seen, this game is a total mess. Hope the actual game is better... Oh yeah! you cant even drop your weapon and pic the ones the enemies are using, needless to say, you cant get the ammo either.

i like DeMoN have played and compleated condition zero..
lemme say what a piece of shit!!

the only thing it has in common with ACTUAL counter-strike.. is the title!!!

the world damage is different, the guns are different... they have a game that seems more like SOF than counter dtrike!!

the terroists are as dumb as fuck!!
like DeMoN said, u can't drop the weapon's!!! (hello.. i thought it was CS)
headshots are useless as!!!

this game sucks..
ohhh and it will take a whole 2 HOURS of you're life to finish.. what a joke!!!

and it's been delayed like 5 times.. let me be the first to say THE WAIT WASEN'T WORTH IT!!!

i was quite upset basicley how awful that game is!

yep, I know how you feel. Dont get HL2 even though its great. It is a 1.4gb dload and being in beta its really really buggy.

I should try HL2 when I had have the time.

Anyone tried that STALKER leak a while back? I played it and uninstalled it in 5mins because it was craptacular. The graphics were good, but since it was the Alpha leak it was really buggy.

I'm curious, is CZ as bad as Deus Ex: IW? My friend says that CZ is ownage and he's raving about it, but then again, this friend of mine likes playing deer hunter and free puzzle games online.

STALKER leakeed? I am waiting for that game... i got the vid and it is amazing. CZ dont get HL2 it isnt that buggy. There are a couple maps you can play on. And not only that, there is a HLPoser program where you can load the zombies and characters and guns and si them in 3D.

i'm happy wit CZ multiplayer version cuz i never got CS to work on my new computer

but the single player isn't that bad either (maybe cuz i suck at shooting game

) but it is a lil repetitive.

Yeah the stalker alpha leak came out awhile back. It was horribly buggy and impossible to play. You die right away almost, but the graphics are nice and fps is high regardless of your computer.
