Default 2010 Jetpack, or 1980 Jet Segway?

2010 technology

1978-1982 tech

Or... would you rather have 80's tech? I know which I'd go for!

Would you need a pilot license for it? NO
Was the test pilot called a pilot? No, but he was for other tests and other devices
Did anybody in the row of generals flinch when the platform was gunning for them at 60 mph flying over a swamp before slowing down quickly, and manuvering around the said generals? No.
Were the neighbors of the AFB upset about the noise? YES! They callled Channel 2 who sent a helicopter out who filmed the platform. That tape has never aired!

It makes a screeching noise that is quite loud when it is landing; but other than that it is a typical jet noise of that type (Identical to that of the Tomahawk Cruise Missie except for one bearing)

unlike most other jet packs this one has decent range which was only thing I didn't like about previous generations, so I agree with nthfinity, Yes please!

It's not the prettiest flying washing-machine, but YES.
I would only add a front hood or nose so have some sense of direction
