Default 1:18 Bburago Testarossa with lots of mods by me

Hi everyone! I bought this model last week, it was an old model, with 12 years. A 12 year old Bburago... not a good start. The front Ferrari shield logo was destroied and the paint had lots of chips. I managed to repair that, as you'll see in the photos, but I also:
-repainted completely the interior in tan and black
-carpeted the interior
-fully repainted and detailed the engine
-added window and windshield trim
-added brake discs behind the wheels and painted the wheels to remove the "shinny" effect of Bburago wheels
-created the metallic gate of the gearshifter, wich was absent
-added black trim for the front bonnet grille
-painted the front grille in black and the headlights and turn signals in correct colours
-painted some unpainted areas of the car (under the front and rear bonnets and doors)

Now, it's almost an worthy model of this masterpiece of automotive design and, much better than the Mattel/HW version IMO.

Just for comparison, the normal Bburago Testarossa looks like this:

Terrible. Worst of all, my car had chips on the paint and no front Ferrari logo, so I had to repair the paint, print a logo, put adesive tape over the logo to give it a shinny effect and then cut it from paper and paste it on the car. It was the worst part of the job!

The car looks great.

If it is the 84 TR it should have a single mirror on the driver's side which seems to be missing on your model. Hmm
