Nissan may be buying GM, so this will probably be one of the cars axed.

I highly doubt they would axe it. The response to the car has been the most impressive show of support for a GM vehicle in a hell of a long time, and with Dodge announcing the production of the new Challenger tomorrow, they'd be out of their minds to axe the Camaro.

^^^ NIssan would be buying in to GM for pure profit and business reasons, not to "make cool cars" but to sell many cars - many boring cars if need be

I could see them axing the Camaro.

Sounds pretty damned good...can't wait to see it on the road (if it ever gets there)

If they axe the camaro, they better hope thier bid in the poice interceptor buisness holds up, because their cars suck! Other than a few V models - they are fairly good.

Thats the real one.. If im not mistaken thats at fbody nationals in Kentucky this year. I went about 2 years ago. Usually has about 8-900 camaros and firebirds present. The first 2 cars are indy pace cars (the actual ones not some mock up or special edition).

Sadly, it will sound nothing like that when it goes into production.

I dunno, the last camaro sounded pretty good and the new vettes sound excellent. Especially if you do a little editing to remove the muffler.

If they utilize a little butterfly valve as with the Corvette, it could sound like that. Quiet at idle and low RPM, but stomp on it and it opens up giving the true sound.

And you can bypass it as well.
