Probably a theft recovery - there was a C6 hijacked at gunpoint at a mall in Houston (some relocated gangters from New Orleans pulled off the heist) and rumour has it it was a C6 Z that was stolen.

This could be whats left

Although it seems all the plastic bits are gone - only metal remaining... interesting...

kind of odd they also have a Supercharged Northstar already from an STS-V RC I would be willing to take a week or 2 off and help you put all that in your car...

I'd put it in something that handles Just kidding.

I'd definately be on the market for a mid-engined sports car ~1100kg. Maybe some kind of kit car or such, definately where the engine belongs.

well considering that it comes with the suspension and the trans really is usesless in any other aplication due to the rear placement and torque tube. that and that is one badass handling car to begin with, even the standard vette's are pretty decent handlers...

It'd be cool to have that, but it makes me wonder where they got it from? Pretty cool to see all the mechanicals exposed.
