I got my new rims today,
6 spoke white speedline rims on 215/40/17 Firenza ST-03 tyres. The tyres are not what i expected, the side walls roll too easy, not too happy about that, but not too bad for the moment.

here are some pics:

What do you guys think?

I will need to give it a good wash, been raining here alot lately. Will be going on a GT4 drive day on saturday, will post up more pics then,

cheers
shane

Looks good IMO, congrats mate.

Do these wheels save any weight over the standard ones?

Thanks mate, i like em too. I didnt weigh the wheels before i put them on, but they are lighter than my 16"black wheels with tyres, Heaps lighter.

Very nice car you have mate!! Since I'm spanish, I used to love this car quite a lot when Sainz won the 1992 championship - he won the 1990 with the old Celica... and Auriol won again in 1993 I think with this same model

I prefer these wheels to the black ones, look more rallye focused... can't wait to see the weight-reduction mods!!

Thanks Dani, this is a dream car for me, i still cant believe i own one.

My bros bought me some new number plates for her as a present: "WRC-91", they suit the car so well, i will take up some fresh shots tommorow for sure, and maybe parked next to a F-430

thanks.

I like the car a lot...for instance its my favourite GT-4 alongside the former celica GT-4 (on the other hand i dont like the last GT-4 since its shape was big and heavy......on the other hand, the 1993 championship was won by KKK and Auriol won the championship in 1994 on the same celica; at the end of the day, the same car has won three champioships in a consecutive way

G'day fellas,
thought i might post up a bit of an update. This thing has consumed most of my time..and all of my money .....but its soo worth it.

i'll let the pics do the talking
here are some of the things that have arrived so far...need less to say, im extremley broke....started to catch the train now also
New muffler, 3" inlet, twin out, Straight through. Tein Superstreet coilovers, It even came with a whole heap of stickers. The new turbo..Garett GT28RS in .64 housing, New o2 sensor.
Homemade adpater to fit up the new apexi air filter, a fresh coat of paint and it should look good. New spark plugs, grade 7, because im planning to run a little more boost, ngk irridum BKE7EIX, and also few odds and ends, Alumnium rear diff mount, 3" flex, 3" high-flow cat, toyota oil filter

Still waiting on these things to arrive\pickup, will post up pics soon as they arrive:
Defi BF PSI boost guage and controller
Fuel filter, New leads, Distributor cap + rotor arm
Tial 38mm External wastegate
ST205 brakes.

Once all the parts arrive, its then towed off to a mates place to get the CT26 to T25 adapter flange made up and the complete 3" turbo back exhuast.

Once all that is completed, I need to look into retro fitting a ST205 53mm Alumnium Koyo radiator and new slimline fans...

Cant wait till till my first race track day
