Default CarTest

last week i got this program from the internet

on cartest u place a lot of info about the car and then the program simulates the 0-60, quarter mile, top speed, slalom speed, etc.

u may download it here: http://www.cartestsoftware.com/carte...ds/cartest.exe

the problem is that i need a looooot of information about the car to insert it there, and some info are difficult to find, like Cx, weight distribution, gear ratios...

does anybody know any site where i can get this kind of infos?

yea this program has been out for awhile you have to just do some research and find the car stats find like club papges on cars that you want and they should have alot of the detail and check car and driver.

Actually for most of that information, you can find them from manufacturer's website. Just have to look carefully. Okay, may be not weight distribution... Carpoint usually has all the info you need anyway.

I've looked at the simulated results for my car and a few others, seem to be reasonably close to realistic numbers.

here are some sites that i found interesting... they have some cool stats inside:

http://www.globalcar.com/
http://www.km77.com/eli/motor/
http://www.carfolio.com/

manufacturer's websites are very poor on information...

what i have done these days is to put on some informations and try an aproximation to the others that i dont know...
