Those aren't GM photos those are from a design student in Pasadena, California that did the design for fun after he found out that the Camaro was officially done for.

I have it on good authority it will come back. (Knowing a gm insider has its perks). That being said this is just a design exercise by some kid. The powers that be at gm so far are pushing against a retro design in favor of performance shapes(the aerodynamics of that mustang is a brick and the nostalgia point will pass).

Look for the new camaro to be shown as a concept sometime around 2007. That is when the labor union/plant contract stipulates a new camaro can be built. That is also why gm did not make a big deal about the downfall of the camaro.(Im sure had they marketed it as the last it would have sold better. Even so it did make money for gm).
