well there is some plant influence in his style, but he really likes country music, much like plant. but he doesn't seem to have the range of plant, and he really doesn't sound like plant from the zeppelin days, more like plant after 1980's.
and it is really only on that one song, yet he seems to be double tracking the vocals one in a higher voice, this seems very plantish because he always liked to show of his range as a singer
plant does seem to do this alot on his new albums but not in the zeppelin days because page was the man running the show
so he does sound like plant in the end, yes
