Eddie bello sets new record for the standing mile 236.31 mph 380 km/h
Eddie bello has done it again he is the fastest again in the mile 236.31 mph or 380 km/h not bad for a aircooled porsche.
He has traction problems on this run
Diffrent video's
1/4 mile pass low 10 second pass

Extremely impressive, yet terribly overshadowed at the same event by the Ford GT that pulled nearly 253 mph in the mile

Yes and the porsche was the second fastest at the mile
Interesting fact is that eddie bello's porsche went in the mile than a 1507 cc suzuki hayabusa 223.33 MPH
eddie did 236.31 mph vs 223.33 mph for the motorcycle.
Here is video of eddie porsche where go's offroad whit his porsche because of traction problems whit the best video but you get the idea.
Here is a better video

Conditions were "perfect" at the Top Gun Run last weekend... close to sea level, low humidity, and low temperatures. While a car will eventually go faster (than the FGT that did 253 [ likely to be bested by the same FGT later this year ] ), Texas may not be any faster due to somewhat worse atmospheric conditions.

And a very demanding and hrash track surface.
Traction is always a problem at Goliad.

How long ago was this record set? It kind of stinks for Eddy that it was broken so quickly.

Eddie is "close" to the old record breakers... however, he had never really been competing for Top Spot IMO.
Previously a Lambo G had 242 or 243, and before that a Supra had 241 or 242. Before those, I believe it was a FGT @ 236, a LPE Z06 @ 235, and a Supra @ 233. My memory is a bit foggy.... but the jump to 253 was pretty huge.
