Generally I think speeding tickets are a load of crap, but this guy is such as ass that it is acceptable in this instance.

Because they'd get sacked or struck off. Or both. At least if a lawyer goes to prison, there is a chance they can continue to practice.

Two of the officers involved were later convicted of various federal offences to do with civil rights. Their lives would've been thoroughly ruined.
