i think these attempts at breaking the world record take place every year or so... it's been going on forever. there is a live broadcast everytime in germany but after you've seen it one or two times, you've pretty much seen it all.

yeah its called domino day. and it's organized by the same dude each and every time, aparently tehy just missed the world record this time with some odd 3.7 million stones or something
