Default driven it

my dad owned one of these. it was big, slow, unreliable, and purred like a kitten. the noise the V12 made was quite possibly the best noise ive ever heard come out of an engine. and cruising in it around 80 85MPH down the freeway was joyous. the styling hasnt lasted the test of time but when it was new i thought it looked brilliant.

i gotta vote cool just for the sake of the engine

I used to love them for an hour or so when they were trade-ins but would never want to own one. I'd play around with their quirkiness and then send em to the wholesaler.

This car had two major flaws. It had the task of replacing the E-type, and the build quality was rubbish (death to BL!).
On the other hand it had some things going for it; the styling isn't really that bad, the engine is super smooth and it's a comfortable cruiser able to make effortless speed.
There are a couple of things you need to remember when buying one: It's not a sports car, and for goodness sake, make sure the technical faults are sorted out. The best thing is to have almost everything modified by a specialist company, like the one I believe James May drove in an episode of Top Gear.
Do I have to vote? Okay, cool then (why isn't there a "neutral" button?).
