I saw home defense and AK 47 and knew you started the thread without evening looking at the author. Is that a WASR? Just guessing from the furniture finish. I was thinking about buying one and staining it Russian Red.

Ever thought about a .450 Bushmaster? I was looking into it versus the Saiga 12. (Yes, I know they're totally different). Was just thinking about something big bore, loud, for shits-and-giggles.



What's with the egg beater? LOL.

I am in full agreement with Patti. I like my AK 47s looking completely stock/classic, kind of like I wouldn't retrofit a 356 Porsche with HID headlights and LED tail lights.

I'd save all the accessories for an AR. Some of the conversions out there with polymer material and tactical add-ons are cool and useful, but I like my AKs with wooden furniture.
