Default Nvidia or ATI

I'm thinking of buying a new video card, but I don't know if I should buy a Nvidia or an ATI product. My current GeForce 2 MX200 64MB isn't nearly enough for the lastest games. Based on your computer experience what should I pick ?? Cost: 200-300 dollars. TXH

As much as I like Nvidia I would go with an ATI. Sharper image and faster AA performance. But it depends on what cards your thinkinh of getting.

Go for a ATI 9800 and do a "software upgrade" to make it
compareable to the 9800 PRO version

most "bang for the bucks" !

I don't think I can get a Radeon 9800 coz it costs a bit too much for my pocket

Default suggestion

This is my suggestion:

Connect3D Radeon 9800SE 128 MB All-In-Wonder
- TV in and out
It can most litely be modified to perfom identical to the 9800PRO AIW

I think you can get one for less than USD 250 (if you'r lucky)

ATI for best quality image.

meh i dont' remember but i think it was flashing the bios of the vid card, it changes to clock speed. Also it was some program that enables it to run with 128-bit memory bus.
