Default new TVR T350C-S

TVR is making a S version of the T350. The main changes:

350 -> 375hp
60kg weight saving => 1100 kg
0-100km/h - 4,2 sec
300km/h topspeed
bigger brakes
extra cost 10.000 euro (standard 62.500 euro)

you can find some extra info about it (in German)

I know that TVR's don't come with ABS, power stering, air bags,TC, etc.
But I'm curious to know if, if you wanted to have all these extras installed, would they do it??

Do they have some kind of pack where you could choose this stuff??

I'm glad you guys like it!! I think it's an amazing car!!! Ok, it has flaws but the things it's ment to be good at = being a fast pure drivers car... it excells in! Just read the Autocar - Britain's best handling car 2003 article. The TVR posted the fastest lap time around the circuit if you don't take the pure track cars into account, and even only 2 of the 6 dedicated track cars beat it's time!! Faster the a GT3, a zonda and a murciélago... Ok it allways depends on the track. It's probably a very curvy circuit, but still. It amazes me that a car wich costs 62.500 euros beats allmost everything they had in the test. So this S version only can be better!!

It's kind off a TVR policy to keep the car as pure as possible so you drive the car and not the electronics. Now IMO it's cool that some manufacturers still do this but it's probably also because TVR is a smaller company and my guess is that developping all those electronic driving aids is pretty expensive. They try to keep the costs of the cars down so... I could be wrong, it's just an assumption.

About TVR developping their own stuff, the last Sagaris + Typhoon scan is very nice and I hope they will never have the money to develop such things

I like it, it looks beautiful
just wonder... why TVR doesn't sell their cars in North America?
is it because of the emission law or crash test requirement?

All I want is a Sagaris, but a T350C-S will do nicely in the meantime

@ Altezza,

suppose that, apart from the issues you mentioned, 98% of current production is RHD. So going to North America would mean serious investments for TVR and in view of the current 'weak' Dollar I doubt that such investments will be made shortly.

Easy, I love TVR! I love their unique style, the suond, the pureness of a cars without driver aids. you're completely in control of the car, nothing between you and the mighty performances and the thrill of driving. And of course I like that the chassis is finally able to keep up with engine performances. I heard that Tuscan and Tuscan S had chassis problems, but finally the T350, Typhon and T400R e T440R have great balance and this is important to enjoy the driving without being worried about strange reactions of the car
