"Me and Frank have always had a very good relationship and this is not helping it but I think it shows how serious I am about the situation."

After this, I don't think u guys will be talking much LOL.

"The situation is different because I have talked it through with Frank whereas I made the mistake of not speaking to Richards last year and that was one of the biggest issues."

Ditching ppl infront or at their back doesn't really make much difference, u are ditching them afterall. He's just ruining his F1 future, no big teams would want a train jumper like that.

He's a fucking retard. You stick with a team good or bad. Look at Mika and MS. They stuck with their teams both through good and bad times. You just don't switch teams just cos you think the other will do better next year. Such an opportunist.

Yeah... get button to drive for you frank. And have him do testing only all year round.

I say Frank should have a talk with Richards and see if they could both let him go LOL. Then he will be just sitting their crying like a baby.

despite the British driver's insistence he will remain with rivals BAR-Honda

The 25-year-old Button says that the pre-contract agreement he has
signed with Williams for 2006 is not binding, although Williams thinks
otherwise.

"A contract is a contract. I've always believed a signature on one
underlines a word given in honour," said Williams.

"We have a contract. There will be no turning back by us, absolutely."

Button and Williams worked together when the former first entered the
sport in 2000, but he now thinks his best chance of an elusive first Grand Prix win is to stick with BAR.

"I hear and understand his concerns about his present team's competitive
position and our uncompetitive situation," said Williams.

"We shall be back, if not in the second half of this year then certainly next
season.

"What this demonstrates is that if, when it suits him, a driver says 'sorry
I've changed my mind', it creates chaos in the paddock."

Williams says he wants to talk to Button in the two-week gap after the
Hungarian Grand Prix to clarify his point of view.

"We need an opportunity to explain to Jenson where we are today on our
road map back to the top of the grid, and where we will be tomorrow."

Now it will be interesting to see how this will turn out. This is the exact situation in reverse from last year where it is Williams turn to have a contract on Jenson. Can wait to see him suffer the concequence.

it's all pretty silly anyhow. How's button suposed to know that Williams or BAR will be better next near with the new engines? Sure Williams won't have a factory-backed engine, but how famous is Honda for making V8s?

I've lost all respect for Button now...Alonso is also a dick, the only respectful young man on the grid is Kimi.

Williams' engine on way

Williams' 2006 engine supplier will be signed and sealed within the next two weeks. And team boss Frank Williams, although thought to favour Cosworth next year before a semi-works Toyota deal could kick off in 2007, refused to rule out a final stop-gap season with BMW. He said in Budapest: "We will be signing one contract in the next fortnight at the very most."

Some say Frank is holding out for Jordan's early-August Toyota contract deadline. If the Midland owned team fail to stump up with the cash, Williams could land Japanese power. But of the BMW link, Sir Frank added: "They've asked us to stay for one more year."

Williams recently tested BMW's 2006 V8 engine, even though the team may soon split altogether with the Sauber-owning Munich carmaker. "All we can say is that we've got some good options for the future," technical director Sam Michael commented.

Rubens Barrichello will leave Ferrari at the end of the current Formula One season, the Italian team said Tuesday.

Barrichello's place as number two driver to Michael Schumacher will be taken by fellow Brazilian Felipe Massa.

"Rubens Barrichello will leave Ferrari at the end of the 2005 season, bringing to an end a fruitful and successful collaboration that started in 2000 and helped bring us five constructors' championships," said a statement posted on Ferrari's official website.

I think Rubens and Ferrari reach an agreement of somesort (unlike button), if they can find someone to replace, Rubens can go sorta deal. Its about time to set Rubens free anyways, I hope he will move to a OK team and best of luck.

I like Rubino, but no one can be a number one driver with Schumi as a team mate. I do hope he becomes a #1 in a good team.
