can anyone tell me why the ferrari in bad boys 2, during the scene where the sister is driving the 4WD and the boys are chasing her, continualy changes from a 550 to a 575? my eyes do not deceive me.

they thought they could pull a fast one on ppl but forgot that car enthusiasts watch movies too. that's the real reason why, any other reason is a bunch of lies.

pretty true, but why swap. I mean it isn't like they conserved one car for the good of the other, they thrash the hell out of both of them

thats prob what they could get, i dont think many ppl are willing to give or lend a ferrari to be thrashed for a movie so they have to buy one, rent one or borrow one from a very willing person.

so if they do have to buy it they buy a 575 and a 550 cuz 2 575's are more expensive and would take away from their budget.

yeah but the idea is to keep cost down cuz when u have to pay 2 big stars even if the movie flops you dont want to have overpaid to make it. being on the safe side, i dont know, ask somone in hollywood. damn, u through a wrench in my argument, i thought i was right.

Bah putting a ferrari in an action movie atracts more ppl to the cinema , i saw it bcuz of the car chase , and if the car chase would have been done in a Suzuki i wouldnt saw it .... lets say that they made some money by using the cars

i know one of the ferraris belonged to the director or producer or something, they were using another car but then he offered his car. that is so true about the cars attracting more people to the movie, I only saw it cos of the ferrari/ferraris

but why not just use 2 550's? If they were trying to pull a fast one, no one that is not a car nut can tell the diff.

Idiots, they should know that mostly car freaks go watch that movie. Now I definitely don't want to go and see it anymore.

nah you still should see it. if anyone has seen it can you clarify whether or not the sound is acctually a 550/575 or a stock 360? i have only ever heard a stock 550/575 as they have outlawed raicing exhausts in aus and are cracking down on them big time.
