I got my new Canon EOS 350D
Yesterday I bought a new Canon EOS 350D, with silver body.
EFS 18-55 mm and EF 75-300 mm lens. 1GB card
I will be visiting the Monaco Grand Prix this weekend so I will try to make some decent pics with the new cam.
As there are many users among the visitors of this forum, any advice/info on the camera is always welcome ofcourse

And here comes another 350D! I dont really like the silver body but well, that's a detail
IMO you should have saved for an IS 300 mm though, you'll soon discover you'll need an IS when shooting at 200mm+
Also, before going to Monaco you better practice as much as you can with your camera because this ain't a point and shoot one and you want to handle is as good as possible before beeing in the streets of MC where you don't want to end up with fucked pics

Actually the clever plot is to roam around the circuit for supercars parked near the hotels with no ppl around since everybody is watching the race

Don't listen to TT ... forget all the stupid, stationary supercars - most of them are driven by poseurs anyway. Leave it to the Salegosses and TTs of the world ... Get pics of the real thing ... the one and only ... Formula One cars driven at the limit by the best drivers in the world in one of the toughest circuits in the world.

I will be in the first corner, but of course I will try to take some pics of nice supercars.
The camera + both lenses: € 960,-

Congrats on the camera, after a dslr you'l never want to shoot with a compact camera any more.
I'm a Nikon user myself so I can't give you any tips on the finetuning of your equipment.
