Default My car is undergoing a transformation! new pics 6/11/07

Well, a few on here know about it, but I thought it is about time I properly publish it!

I am effectively re-building my mk4 Ford Fiesta! Yes yes, I know I will get the 'why don't you just buy another car'. Well, that is boring and I love fiddling around with cars - so this is my project.

A full build diary to date can be found here:
http://www.walish.co.uk/page_projectrs_frameset.htm

To give you an idea of where my car is at:

The car currently only has a few base coats on. They will be rubbed back before the final 'gloss' coats are out on followed by some nice lacquer.

Can't wait to get it back!

We are trying to code page numbers - it is proving a pain in the arse!!!

OOh, I know it is probably obvious, but in the diary, if you click on the pics you get big versions! 8)

At the moment I have no plans to paint them - There are other things that are taking priority at the moment.

You never know - if I get bored of them.....

Don't think I quite understood your sentence - but, no there will not be one single part of my car that I have not altered/planned out in some way

you understood it right
titan or even black color and red or white "speedline" on them might look good

If we have another NS meet next year - I will bring the car along - with it's new engine And yes, it will get driven around!

As for wheels colors, they would either go titanium or black. If I eventually turn the car into a track day only thing, I may go 'motorsport white'.

Oooh, remember to leave comments if you have something to say on a particular post. We are sorting out a 'subscription' to the diary; you will then get an email informing you that I have posted something up which means you won't miss a beat 8)

That sounds very promising! Where do prices for a passenger ride start?

Danny, I am thinking of going down the S3 route at the moment - there is also a possibility of making a 1.7 Turbo from the puma lump (could be very spendy though!)

Once I have recovered from the cost of this re-spray, I will be saving as much as possible until the engine is in.

TopGear - no charge mate - just one hell of a fun ride!
