Default 2007 Mazda RX-8

I know I was talking about getting a used M3 or S4, but not only did I not find any good ones in my price range, I figured I'm only 20 and I should get a new fun car that I don't have to worry about repairing for a while.

So here it is, my new 06 RX-8. It had 34 miles when I purchased it wednesday from a local dealer.

It is not as fast as my 93 RX-7 of course but it is definitely easier to drive and a lot of fun too. The rear seats are pretty spacious and I love the suicide doors.

I'll take more pics when I figure out how to take better quality ones.

awesome car, and damn fun to drive. I love the motor that spins to no tomarrow! :good:

I heard they were having alot of reliability issues. Anyone know if those have been resolved?

I was thinking light mods like exhaust/intake/maybe for better breathing and power and probably some new wheels and the mazda aero add ons.

Btw, I saw these TSW rims on a silver one that I liked. Think they would look good on a black one?

I'm not to fond of those rims, sorry. If you're going to spend money on some rims, just go all the way and get some quality ones. I think Volks or BBS would look sick on your RX-8, in bronze or black.

Congrats! Nice car I haven't ever seen one in black, but then again, I haven't seen much of these cars anyway! Hope to see more pictures of it

Thanks everyone.

And I see what you all mean by the wheels being ugly; sticking with stock would be better over those TSWs.

I'll probably go with something that looks like my old wheels.

This is true, the engines inject a small amount of oil to lubricate the rotors. At least I don't have to put 2 stroke oil in the gas like in my 7 lol.

No, you won't have to put oil in the gas, but I would strongly recommend that you carry a couple of quarts of 5w-20 non-synthetic in the trunk, as in my experience (I ran a Black RX8 for a year) it drinks around a quart every 1500 miles or so. Enjoy the car though...it's a lot of fun.

Sounds great. 34 miles!?!?! The old owner mustn't have liked it very much. Or was it a demonstrator?
