Congrats TT! looks great in white!
I've always liked 944's and even almost bought one. (insurance man said bend over)

Make sure to keep up with the maintenance, 944 parts are terribly expensive, at least they are here anyway.
Keep an eye on the timing belt too, that snaps your wallet is in for a world of hurt.

Congrats again TT! Now go get some black Fuchs wheels!

Uh oh! Get ready for a flood of 944 pics!

Nice choice, much better than a TT...

I'm looking forward to reading your first driving impressions. What's happened to the old Bimmer now?

Truly a great sportscar!
Impressive on the track - yet civilised and comfortable.

Congrats TT!

very nice choice indeed, but as mentioned - where the hell is the engine? There's a hole in the back!!!

:good: I'm happy for you lucky bastard!!!

any repairs needs to be done? doesn't look like...
Nope, just a simple levels check and a couple stupid things. Clutch, brakes and all is in pretty top shape! I'll take it back to the garage in September for the check up, but for now I'll just drive it a bit

Well dude, in fact it's quite hard to sell the bitch. I want to make some 3000 CHF out of it but so far no luck... far from it...

LOL, I didn't even talk to my insurance man because I am sure I would havce gave up. This way anyway is too late, so I'll pay what they ask, that's it :bah:

Timing belt was changed at 78'000 km, next time due at 160'000
The car has the complete service history with it of course

To be honest, I fear the 944 won't cost a whole lot more than what the 320 does, to keep it on the road, but we'll see
As for the 320, trying to sell it, but seems fucking hard

hmm.....

very nice

about your new car..... i can't stress enough.... keep your tires to the proper inflation levels! and it will handle brilliantly

yeah.... we crashed a 944 some years back .... cuased by underinflated tires; and an overconfident driver.

Congrats on the Porsche!

Years ago, I was really close to owning one as well. But the maintenance turned me off from it, of course I was still in High School at that time, so it would've been terribly hard to keep it running. But as with most German cars, I am sure most of it has to just do w/ the preventive maintenance.

So instead of the 944, I got a Toyota Corolla GTS (AE86) . From one end of the spectrum to the other. Actually buying cost on both cars were about the same.

You went through quite a list of potential cars, didn't you

A 300SL, Audi TT, and then you ended up buying something quite different. Hope it ends up being a dream ride *thumbsup*
