Then again, you prolly have to know a bit about fotography and settings and stuff to get a great pic instead of my point-and-shoot strategy.
the great thing about the 350d is that its perfect for point and shoot all the way to fully manual settings

Nice bokeh on the leave-in-water pic! Judging from the last guitar-pic you got a 50 1.8?

Very nice pictures mate, keep up the good work !

I'm really fond of the picture that shows the leaf in the water and the two dices as well. Nice captures !!!

I read that somebody wrote that the 350D is too big. Well, a mate of mine has one as well and I have taken a few shots with it before. It is the same size as the Nikon D70 but I think that those cameras are too small. I have been fortuned to use a D2x before and I must say that those pro-cameras are much more ergonomic than the non-professional ones, like mine D70. So, my next camera will be a pro-camera most definitely !
If you make the same comparison with cars it's like a VW Golf vs an Audi A8

But nevertheless the quality output of the 350D is superb.

So, congrats with your new shooter.

Good luck with it

Cheers
