Default Ferrari F430 Challenge Stradale?

Will this exist? I mean there is now a F430 challenge and the the 360 cs was based on the 360 challege. So common sense would tell me a f430cs will be about in the near future but i just wanted to ask the question around the ferrari buffs of this forum to see if i am right or wrong.

One thing is though if Ferrari does release a F430CS it will wipe the floor with the 997 GT3 RS...I mean the official figure for BHP of the GT3 RS is "only" 415bhp, which is less than the old 360CS and the f430 starts off with 490...so i would expect a power reading a pinch over 500 and getting the weight to less than 1300kg

I for one loved the look of the 360CS...lower..bigger wheels..flared arches..it looked fantastic..so wouls the f430cs!

have no fear, they'll build it

and seeing as the 360cs and the f430 make the best noise on planet earth the f430cs is sure to sound unbeliable.

(it might not be named challenge stradale though)

...it's coming

I'm not so sure of that - i see no reason why Ferrari wouldn't make one, but on the UK Ferrari forum that i visit, the impression of many owners seems to be buy a 360CS, because the 430CS isn't certain to come out, and so the 360CS will be a better investment than a 430 Modena/Spider :bah:

@ Cockrocket - IMO, i can't see Ferrari not making one. Though i wouldn't bet on it coming soon - remember the 360CS was launced very late in the 360 product cycle, almost as a final fanfare for the 360.

And as for beating a 996 GT3 RS, the new car will have to deal with the 997 Turbo, 997 GT3, maybe an RS, and (highly unlikely at the moment) a 997 GT2. SUre the 360CS won it for me, but the Porsche was the better drivers car, if a little less ostentatious than the 360CS. 8)

Challenge grill at the rear looks wierd, but the front looks like it might have a few changes under the camo :good:

I can wait for this car - i'm pretty sure it will happen now, despite speculation that it won't

Not bad, at first it looks just like the standard model, just with the rear grill. What's with the exhausts ?? is that temporary?? There are only two of them. or maybe they aren''t exahsuts, it's difficult to tell from the picture. The front of the cars seems to be unchanged, which is too bad, it would look good with a carbon fibre lip. I'm guessing around 520BHP should be available when it comes out.

i think the exhausts are in the same postition as they are on the F430 Challenge and it has a similar tow-hook a tthe back

Perhaps they are going from the race car to the road car :bah:

Im almost sure ferrari is adapting to the approach of Porsche. This will be the intermediate F430, and a couple years into the cycle an even more hardcore version will be released. That way, the last car will benefit from the tech derived from GT racing, rather than the Challenge series.

Humm!!

Those exhausts in that place are a bit weird, but the worst thing is that black grill. The 360 CS had it and it was great but in this one it looks horrible. And I hope they're gonna put the 430 Challenge wheels instead of those 360CS ones.

One thing I'm sure, it will be loud has hell !!

if they keep the exhausts in that postion I hope they do somethig to the holes where they are meant to go, not just leave em like that...
