Default [Request] Widescreen wallpaper.

I'm fairly sure this isn't a repeat topic, but if it is by all means kill it and point me in the right direction... did a search and nothing came up, so...

Here's my problem:

I have a decent laptop with a 15.4" superbright screen, and since I'm not quite blind, I have my resolution set at 1920 x 1200 since I love my desktop space. However, whenever I look for wallpapers, most are at lower res 1024x768 and it looks kinda crummy and out of proportion stretched out...

So, i'm looking for free sites which host wallpaper at my resolution...

Any thoughts?

It is gonna be extremelly difficult...I sugest you find very high res wallpaper (4:3 format) and crop it down.

http://www.seriouswheels.com

has some 1920x1440 wallpapers, but only new and few cars, and sometimes have 1600x1200 and that resolution could be fine for your screen

btw... the other day I found an old backup cd I made for my first laptop, which had a 14' display and 1024x768 res... and saw some images at that resolution and those were awesome for that time...

now I don't like 1024x768 , it's too small. Now I have a 15' lcd and 1450x1050 and looks very nice

Wow I'm glad someone else has the same problem that I do!! I got a Dell Inspiron 8600 and decided to go for this huge widescreen, which I now am also having difficulties filling with a good background!

I run my widescreen at 1440 x 900 and just find 1600 pics, and crop the height and reproportion it
