GPS on Smartphone

Has anyone here used or tried GPS Navagation (with map) on mobile phones?

I found this product and want to know if anyone think its a good idea?

Also, has anyone heard of "GP Wave"?

I would be concerned about linking GPS with the cell phone.

Call me paranoid - but it is bad enough that your movements can be traingulated based on cellphone calls made - imagine a realtime movement tracker that continually updated you position for others to follow..

Of course the phone company wouldn't do that...
