Pic of the 575 spider
Here is a pic i found on rennteam, and you can see the roof if all glass. and when in the down position it rests on the rear of the car. At the unavailing i didn't like it so much.

that does look weird, almost like a photoshop or something. as if anyone wants a 575 spider, this is getting a bit weird for ferrari

At the show there was mobs of people around the car so i didn't see exactly how it worked, but from what i saw the roof just flips forward and into place. the whole process takes only about 5 seconds. but the car is still in its concept form, so nothing is going to be built soon.

budagboy2: the picture u have there is an alfa indeed, it was shown as a concept car a couple years ago.
I think this design is a rather simple solution to a challenging task, however it's not very good looking when the top is in the down position.. rumour goes that the upcoming 430Spider will also share a similar design for the roof.. hmm, prob work better for a mid engined car with a glass engine cover than with a front engined 575.. jus my opinion
