Default F430 Options list

Taken from, who else, but Rennteam:

no-cost option:
- revv counter yellow or red
- dash board edge alloy or carbon

extras for an additional charge:
next to the well-known options from the 360 as coloured brake calipers, Daytona or electrical adjustable seats, luggage set for example there is a list of new feartures:

- carbon interior
- carbo ceramic brakes (unfortunately not standard...)
- carbon kit for engine compartment (like Challenge Stradale?)
- carbon kit for exterior parts (wonder how that looks like)
- sports exhaust
- run flat tyres
- rear grille in carbon
- Challenege grille front and/or rear
- navigation and telephone system (infotainment)
- parking sensors rear
- bicoloured rims
- Challenge rims
- tyre pressure control system
- Bluetooth for cellular phone

It seems to me that Ferraries are becoming every day drivers!!

They already were except the enzo n CS. The people who buy them for every day cars are the ones that keep the sales up to - you loose that part of the market and ferrari will go downhill. They put everyday sort of options in the car and it appeals to a wider variety of people and so profits increase and we get more beauitful faster cars

Where did you get this information btw?

I would have navigation i gues.. for crossing the continent, but i would not have Parking sensors... that's part of the challenge of parking a supercar, and they are dead ugly

The carbon pack sounds good 8)

Kills handling and perfomance, not ride quality.

yeah ferraris can be everyday cars.

my buddy races them and says for his dads 575m(sold) and 360, every 3kmiles u just go get an oil change and tune up. completely defeating that time old "engine rebuild every 3k" myth that has been around the internet since time began. now his challenge cars are different...

I wonder how the bi-colored wheels will look

I would say that keeping the carbon brakes optional is a very good thing if you read about the hellacious cost of replacing the CC rotors and pads....

Blue tooth? They forgot to include cupholders or is it standard now - decadent Ferrari

yeah.....the carbon brakes are very efficient because they stop the car in short distances, and mostly because it very difficult to exhaust the brakes although you are practising a sporting driving down on a hill........but it has its disadvantages also...they dont work at all if they are cold, as a result somebody has to be patient until getting the brakes the proper temperature, apart from this its more difficult to get used to(or to get the feeling) the ceramic brakes rather than the ordinary brakes

In addition,....i see that the list of options is a bit uncomplete....once ferrari has already had the option of the superstereo equipment for the 355 and the 360( Bose for the 355 and 360 as far as i know)...also there is no option of the manual 6 gearbox option in the list either...and the 430, in order to compete with other cars such as the aston martin, the gallardo, the 911

I'm sure there will b the option of a standard 6 speed gearbox.. i read it on autocarmagazine.. in reply to Ferrari's becoming everyday cars, i guess it's neccessary to ensure the company's survival, i mean not many people will be prepared to sacrifice comfort for an extra bit of driving thrill that may only be used 10% of the time.. i know i would prefer a Ferrari that can also be made for everyday driving!
