thanks guys. yes engine swap is planned for the future...2 years probably. going to go with the 3.5 L nissan engine (VQ35DET) that comes in the new 350Z/altima 3.5/murano. very strong engine which will have a good life and mods for it should be plenty by the time i get ready to do so.

Thats sweet, I didn't know you could put the new 3.5L in the 280, that should be a bit of a performance improvement

just a random fact...21 year old stock 280ZX in relatively good engine condition, does 65 MPH red line, in 2nd gear....i hit it in mine all the time....this car is a super car, even compared to some of todays cars...

thanks man, i love the porsche so much man...its quick , and will take a lot of cars on the track no doubt, handles better than my friends new m3, and my other friends mitsu Evo 8....
