Default Dodge Demon Concept

Chrysler will exhibit an all-new Dodge roadster concept called the Demon at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. The vehicle is designed to compete with the popular Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky, as well as the Mazda MX-5.

"While the iconic Dodge Viper is a dream car for many, the Dodge Demon is designed to be an attainable dream car," said Jae Chung – Dodge Demon Principal Exterior Designer, Chrysler Group. "The exterior design is simple yet bold, featuring an energetic combination of curves and intersecting planes."

Power comes from a 172 horsepower 2.4 liter engine, offering peak torque of 165 pound-feet. A six-speed manual sends power to the rear wheels. Weight is estimated a 2600 pounds. Dodge officials say an SRT version could also be offered with a 300 horsepower four-cylinder from the Dodge Caliber SRT-4.

Sorry, but that just looks terrible!

Looks like an ugly unresolved version of the Z4!

Looks like a Dodge Charger had sex with a Dodge Viper and something went wrong during gestation.

From the back it reminds me of the Murci a bit and the front reminds me of a fish..

Ugly car, take it away I never want to see it in my life..

That's just...wrong.

The S2000 and MX5 owners are liking it apparently. I think it looks quite nice, and if the weight is low and has enough power in it, that could be quite fun.

Yeah, that generally happens with incest.

The front looks alright, but the rest of the car is hideous and the side shot makes it seem so out of proportion.

I woudn't even put it that high LOL

the angles of the nose match nothing on the remainder of the car; sometimes, you have to wonder about the idea of a corperate grill... the rear fenders... ?!?!?! if they were to still be in existance, the flow into the trunk line should be much more apparent... not like it's moulded to fit on as an afterthought... either erase the flairs, or fix the drunk trunk... UGLY

Nico
so if a 2 seater outlaps, and out accellerates the car without cupholders in the same market, is it still not a sportscar?
