This was a tough one for me.

ON one hand I like the huge engine and power. But the car was built on a budget and the interrior is quite lacking 9on quality and refinement. From what I've read, this isn't the best car to have on a twisty road either. Especially at 4000 pounds.

I think what we have here is a case the car looking great on paper, but it just doen't cut it in the real world. Straigtht line speed alone isn't going to cut it anymore.

It might be cool to look at, but I wouldn't want to be seen in one.

Uncool.

Uncool.

I'd rather been seen in a 300C than that!

I say uncool. The car would have been way better 2 doors as Dani said. Anyways the only time I drooled over this car was when I say it black on black on black ( Thats Black interior, exterior and rims.) It was an undercover cop car with the lightes above the dashboard and it looked lowered....or it might have just been the weight of the equipement? But anyways that looked so damn nice I couldnt believe my eyes!
Best part is I see it every now and then. 8)

It's not as bad as many other american cars, but they just ruined the Charger name with this 4 door..

Look, the styling isn't perfect, but I would still consider it a cool car.

BTW, they have a game somewhere on the internet, which is pretty much an advertisement for the Dodge Charger.

F*** the styling, I drove it and I dont like it. Maybe if it had a proper manual insted of the damn Merc auto trany in it and it weighed less I would like it.

But it doesnt so bleh...... plus the 425hp engine doesnt feel like 425 hp. I had more fun in a 6.0 L GTO than that thang.

Of course, it's an Australian design.

The Charger doesn't drive very well in the game either.

I agree, the SRT/8 is a different animal. There is one at work that's black, black with dark tints. Really special.

Seriously Uncool! I hate the retro thing they are trying to achieve in America nowadays. The Mustang worked fine but now everyone is copying the idea which is pathetic! Especially the new Challenger and Camaro - I would like new aerodynamic modern shapes. What's the point of going back to the 60's?
Back on the Charger. It is quintessentially American....Stupid. They wanted to revive the old car, but in the same time wanted to sell millions and decided to make it a 4 door saloon so that every family can drive one. This is clearly not the idea of the original Charger. I love the old one and I adore the 1980's Shelby Charger. This new one is boring and designed for guys in their mid-50's.
Another thing I hate about this car - the engine. "Oh, it's got a HEMI, oh it's a HEMI!" BIG DEAL! The HEMI of the 60's was the most poerful engine at the time, fair enough. But this new one - 6.1 liters, 425bhp. Every car company can achieve those figures and even bigger ones without using the "so great" hemi technology. The fact is, the name HEMI is just a marketing trick and should appeal to 16-year olds. Seriously Uncool!
