Getting a genuine 10sec car takes some serious money. There are people who have expensive cars one here, but are not mainly concerned with raw figures.

My dad's drag Camaro (key word drag) does average 11.10's broke the 10 barrier once but it did some damage so not worth it I have no clue how much has been put into it but I would say a hell of alot and as soon as the snow stops falling I'm driving it back up to put in a new rear end and try out some new engine setups. will take pics of the process. It's about time I do so. I'm just soo fucking lazy when it comes to stuff like that.

10 second car? It would take 600bhp on wheel with custom made close ratio gearbox, rage tyres, twin pot nitro, at least 2 bar boost and sub 1,000kgs kerb weight. Pretty impossible don't you think?

Even if it's possible, it'll be shitty to drive and handle. I'd rather have a hot hatch can trashing ups and downs the b road. Much more fun.

Actually to have a streetable 10 second car only takes money.

How much you ask? About $75,000 US and a C5 Vette.

Hand the car and money to Lingenfelter Performance in Indiana and they will produce a TT C5 (Z06 or Coupe) Corvette that will run 9's in the 1/4 and can then be used (after to take off the drag slicks) to drive to the Opera and be valet parked.

But, here - let an LPE 427TT owner tell you in their own words...
