it handles nicely, just needs the rear sway bar put in and some better bushings, then it will be awesome. with my old mods i was pushing 300+. I'm getting my car from the shop tomorrow with some luck, and ill be able to up the boost pressure to about 14.5 psi without tuning, and this will get about...350 id say. fuel system is good for 18+ psi, which should yield more than 450 hp. im tuning this saturday, so ill see what happens.

How was that turbo install I heard they're a bitch because half the stock turbo is built into the Exhaust header. I personally don't like the looks of the Neon but since the engine is pretty much Mitsubishi I have to support the car

ah, you like evos then i think? theyre nice cars.
i got over the neon thing the first time i drove it, stock it is about 220 whp, saturday i should have it close to 400. removing the stock turbo took me some time, but this is the first car ive owned or modded, so everything takes me time the first time.
the biggest thing that gets in the way of the removal of the stock system is the lower heat shield, which, unless cut off with a plasma cutter, gets in the way like crazy, and its sharp. the directions for my kit were no help with the removal, which didnt help either. "step 1: remove intake, battery, and complete turbo assembly" wish it said how. biggest pain was that the directions had some bugs in the order of the steps.

Yes i do like the EVO's read my sig \/ \/ Once I get the HKS upgrade and Larger intercooler, Fully custom exhaust, and some other little stuff I should be rollin well, I've already got a K&N FIPK setup which is pretty good (hell they made a show car specifically for it). I would like to do internals but that means I have to take the engine out and I've already got an Engine on the stand now and I need the car for the winter so this summer I might just rip the car apart. Good luck with your's.

sounds like a nice project, good with yours too. i dont have to pull internals quite yet, that is after i make my 450 whp. i know this because a guy on my forums is running 450 whp on a bb turbo, and has no sign of problems yet. i can get custom rods and pistons pretty easily, and i have a friend who will help me rip the car apart.

Did you do anything to the brakes? I didn't see anything listed. The only thing is I don't want to go too crazy with this car since it is a winter car I want it to be able to grip in the snow. But I can handle 500 rwhp I think I could handle about 6-700 awhp. And my goal is to look completely stock. I should have pics soon enough.

yea, looking stock always helps, ive had cop trouble for my exhaust, and these ca cops are convinced everybody is a street racer. brakes are stock, and im not planning on upgrading them for a while, if at all, theyre fade free, so i should be fine for now.

I would upgrade atleast the brake lines and fluid if you plan to hit 400 hp. Luckily my car has racing Brembo's and I've done the Lines already. That, the intake, and the stereo is all I've done so far. Also is the car purple or is that a funny reflection on a black car?
