Default E39 M5

Well i dont know if any of you remember but a few months ago my dad bought the car and we had problems with oil consumtion. So with the help of JW we went through all the problems that it might have been, and after worrying about the VANOS, engine... it came down to just the wrong oil.

After we had a full oil change (had Mobil 1 in before) to Castrol TWS it now runs perfectly.

Luckily I have had the pleasure of driving it and am completely addicted to the power. Unfortuantly it is a sickening feeling to think it will be many years until I get insurance on it, but hey the world is probably safer for it.

Here are the pics:

I will try and get a few vids next time I am over in Spain...

Awesome car. That caramell leather interior is really nice. I'm not a fan of modified cars but the 2001 face lift would make it look even better.

Enjoy your new car..

This is one of my favourite Bimmers!

Glad to hear it runs nice and smooth now!

What did he pay if you don't mind me asking?

I do not actually know what my dad paid for it in the end, but I think he got quite a good deal.

The caramell leather really makes the interior a nice place to be.

If we ever come up through barcelona a photosession sounds cool 8)

:good: definitely a car I wouldn't mind in my garage one day, possibly not black (too common?), but a hell of a ride!

Ah yes, yes, I know that color, like this one owned by a friend:

In this pic the blue kinda comes out

But beside black cars, you won't tell the difference if you don't know about it

Very true, you can easily mistake it for black.. I do like the colour though.
