Ok,

Now that the custom shot is placed and I have 25 or more posts here are the pics. In this post of my current exige. Colour is Nightfall Blue. The car is from april 2006 and is the N/A (so 192 hp version). It's equipped with the sportspack, ultra light alloys, Nitron shocks, rear chassis brace and 3 way front ARB. Oh yes for comfort I added airco.

Hope u like the photo's

Like I said I've traded the nightfall blue exige for a new one: The Exige S British GT Special Edition. And yes, I opted for the GT pack. This means Ohlins dampers, larger AP front brakes, Accusump and ECU upgrade to take the engine performance to 243 bhp (247ps).

Of this version there are only build a maximum of 25 for the UK and 25 for Europe. The GT pack was optional, but if you took that the spec is comparable with the 240R (but with new dbw/no throtlle cable).

Car is going to be build in februari 07 and than 'tuned' by Lotus Motorsport. So I haven't got pics of my car yet, only the promotional stuff from Lotus. But with that you get the idea. Only thing is that on these pics the car is RHD and mine will come in LHD.

The photo's:

Very nice car!

Thanks for the pics Nico!

I've always had a special place in my heart for this car!

I sat in one at the Dutch Carshow, it was damn low, but very cool!

Very nice car. Ive always wanted an elise but their reliability keeps me a bay. Let us know how the car comes along. Do you plan on taking it racing or tracking?

No problems on reliabilty these days. The drivetraing comes from Toyota and the bits and pieces are not falling of the car.

I intend to do so tracktime with it, though the car will spend most of it's time on the twisty B-roads

Nice demonstration pics Nico!

What I especially like about that car is that its a car you can use everyday!

Hope your not tall BTW that doesn´t help with an Exige

Mmm everyday you say? Well my current Exige still has to leave the garage this year....
The car comes with semi slick tires. With these temperatus it's difficult to get heat into them, esp. on the damp or wet roads. Driving around in a downpour is no joy either.

Been to the Lotus dealer yesterday. The have plenty of work at the moment. Lot's of body damage to cars.

Well its supposed to be a car you can use everyday then

If you want it to be...

Im not surprised about that Nico, the weatherconditions over here are shite for those type of tires, damage is unavoidable :x

Lovely color to your old Exige - very distinctive. The new one looks special too! I am sure you going to have fun.

I have driven an Elise but not an Exige and thought it was fun and easy to drive. Cool car!
