That's a really nice car you have there Demon. I really like the G35 now personally, it's growing upon me and I wouldn't mind getting one, one of these days.

Personally, I've gotten the chance to driven one. My friend also has the G35 coupe in black but in an Automatic transmission. I loved it the moment I stepped inside the car. The power is amazing. Interior is nice and the car overall is just beautiful.

I hope this one treats you right and gives you nothing but happiness to come. By the way, I loved the story.

G35's are such great cars. The story was inspiration of the moment... I was so happy that I forgot my wallet, cell phone, a towel I had, and the GPS booklet at the dealership lol.

3 days before the car came, I test drove the BMW M3 (05 one) and damn man that is a sweet car. Wish I hadn't as my lil G cant match the feeling. Seriously, that M3 is friggin fast. I got up to 80mphour without even knowing I was going so fast... Then a corner came up and I went through it at high speeds and I didnt even feel pulled to one side! I have no idea how these germans do that! I was thinknig about getting one and asking for my deposit back from infiniti, but the car was here today so yeah... Besides, if I were to have bought an M3, besides being REALLY broke, I would get speeding tickets for sure. I am now used to the G and trust it. The G isnt that far away from the M3 anyway... performancewize the M3 is better no question, but I like the G's look more. I also like the interior on the G better. Those big old buttons the M3 has are not that good looking. The M3 is obviously more confortable too.

I totally agree with what you said about the M3. Although, I've been seeing more and more M3's around lately. It's getting to the point where it's pretty trendy and makes me not like the M3 anymore. Hell, I remember back in the day where no one had the M3 and it was something rare and nice to see. Now it's something that just makes me go Eh.

Honestly, I think I would pick the G35 than the M3, the appearance inside and out in my opnion looks better to me. Black is such a nice color for the G35 too. I've seen one recently in black, black wheels and shaved emblems. I believed it was slightly lowered as well and it was insanely nice.

My brother-in-low coworker has a G35 Coupe and a couple goodies installed. I believe he has a Stillen supercharger, exhaust, wheels and suspenion. I'll have to ask my brother next time I talk to him. I can't imagine how fast that thing is though, stock already the performance is good. After all...the G35 didn't win car of the year from motor trend for nothing.

You are correct... it won 2 years in a row in CAR and DRIVER's 10 best cars also (the 05 model wasnt available for testing so it did not come as 10 best this year).

Not only are there a lot of M3's now, but I hate driving a car and seeing the person next to me with the same car, but 20 years over my age LOL! Unfortunatelly, M3s, as boxters, are bought by (mostly) old doods who dont even use the car's power. Besides... what is even WORSE is that the M3 is so similar to the normal 3 series (older ones) that some RICE asses change the side panels to have the M3 side grills and put in M3 badges. I hate hate hate that. I wouldnt want to be mistaken by one of THOSE idiots.

It's a sweet car and a good performer! Kinda "different" from the "usual" 350Z

lol...why is it that I find myself agreeing with everything you just said.

It's not old people I see with M3's now...it's kids and a more younger crowd now. I even know people who get them for gifts when they are still in high school. Talk about being spoiled! It's true about the grill, I believe the ricers call those "Z3 style fenders" lol! I truly hate seeing those on civics or any car other than where it came from for that matter. As for me, I would never purchase a BMW, but that's just me.

Yeah, I wanted a 350Z initially, but my father said "too expensive for a motorcycle" so I got the G. Now that I have it, I am happy my father told me not to get a Z.

MBDriver - WOAH! no BMW love in ya? Why wats the matter? BMW are such great cars... the M5 is awesome... the engine in the McLaren F1 is BMW the X5 is, according to more than me (tiff needell included), the best SUV.

Nice ride Demon! the car looks awesome stock, and I have to agree with you that it looks much better than the M3, tho the M3 only 'looks' better to me cause I know what lies under the aluminium skin..... Anyways, great colour you chose, my only issue with the G35 is its ass is a bit big, not in the good Vida way, more like a J LO ass. Black masks this well, and I think if the car was lowered an inch or so, it would help to streamline this beauty even further. Get an Air filter on the car STAT! (K and N i guess seems to be the holy grail) Enjoy the car, A few more years and a career and I am looking to break the bank on a 30-40 K car just like urself, the G is very very high up on the ladder as well

Hmmm... so you took a hit (entry cost) on the "almost new" '04... which had more torque and better brakes.. and you then took another hit (exit cost) and got a new car that has already lost value the moment you drove out the door (drive away cost.. ) - so you could have a slower, worse braking and more difficult to clean car?

I hope you really love that interior.

Nice car, but I doubt I would have bailed after only 6 months with the previous car.

Unless of course it's all paid for and money is no object - then of course who gives a shit and you should beat the crap out of it and get a different flavour next year.

Yeah callen, I agree, I need K&N filter only thing, I dont know any place around here in melbourne that I would trust my car to. Ive read so many storeis of people's rims being scratched and car dings and stuff when they take them for an upgrade... First is first, break-in =( As said before, I am going to school by foot now as she is covered up till Zaino+Microfiber+5.1MP Camera arives.

I too agree about the M3 being appealing because of what it has under the skin. Man, the car is not that good looking, but the drive (now that I drove one) MORE than makes up for it. I mean, those Germans, I swear, I dont know how they do it. I know that even if the G had 400hp stock, it would not feel as sofisticated as the M3... that thing really is a performance car.
