On wath fuel ran this cars in the group b days?
And at death henri toivonen at the tour de course 1986 is it true that the fire extinguisher where empty and contained nitro methane?

There is a legend saying that the fire extinguisher worked only for filling illegal fuel (the nitro metane) in each park service, and the nitro-metane was flown to the engine through the anti roll bars; but nobody knows the real history, and there is no interests for revealing the whole truth though.

In terms of what kind of fuel ran; Ive no clue, but it must be something similar to avgas; I mean, the petrol which ran the planes, the reactors and stuff like that....vith very few octans in order to burst quicker

In addition, I know that Gerard de la Casa (the guy that turned up inexpectly in a ferrari 288 GTO in a recent hillclimb race) ran with the standard Elf Competition oil when he drove the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo from 1987
