Default (3-12->3-19-06) 911 Turbos, Lingenfelter C6, Z06, M3, M5,

a fairly productive week for whats been on the streets; its been dry... but quite cold (about -10 C-->5C) so the sports cars have begun creeping out in fact... ive officially seen my first one-off car! nobody else will ever see another one; only this one... and its not even 2 weeks old!!
http://www.lingenfelter.com/class_lists.htm !!! super hot! i love it! (i have a suspicion who it might own it... but im really not sure)

ok, also; 2 new E60 M5's this week! people really love them! also, some E46 3M's, an E36 M3, and a SUPER RARE E24 M6 in great condition (and also pulled over for speeding ) the GT2, im not sure if it is or isnt... it had the 'de-badge' option; a cross member in the place of rear seats, with a camera mount, and racing harnesses... (could 'just' be a turbo)

A C4 with upwards of 500 hp (not sure how much more...) a black C6 Z06, some Mustangs, and a Saleen stang... it can only get better with warmer weather!

Yep, it ain't a GT2 - it has the Turbo front bumper and rear wiper.

Nice C6 too, looks so menacing! Love the white M5 aswell, not so common.

Thanks.

Very nice update for a cold week The white M5 is just

LMAO at the red Mustang's driver: one hand using the phone, the other shielding him from the sun! Who the fuck is keeping the steering wheel????????

I wanted to pick this one as candidate for the next contest:

very nice situation IMO, but I fear the quality is not good enough to make it shine...

The fake GT2 was interesting too, but beeing a fake and having a car in the frame kinda spoils it

So for now, for you, I have the silver M5 at night on file:

The Saab's panning shot is almost perfect :good:
BTW, I noticed a big drop in quality in night/dark shots, like the black M5 (first two pics) or thw CTS do you know why? it's full of noise but not simple ISO noise at a first glance... maybe due to editing?

its not a bad photo; but i would'nt pick it for a couple reasons.... he was too far away with the wrong lens in hand, i was in the car at the time, so the angle is bad, and i cropped a whole lot of the picture to make it "appear" not such bad circumstances.

yeah... i had to post it because its an M5; and its still sharp... the grain is due to post-processing; but being about -15C (evening temp drop) i was in no particular state of mind to get a good pic and didn't check on the settings i was taking; and just left. so would i either post something terribly underexposed, or pretty grainy.

i probobly wouldn't have taken a picture of the saab if i hadn't owned a 9000 turbo... its 'pretty' good, but the front gets a bitout of focus...
(really, its not bad for the settings i was using...)

You are pretty brave trying to shoot a panning shot at 1/20 LOL! When it's too dark to have decent speed, even with my IS, I don't even try usually because I know I'll be owned

BTW, be carefull when shooting at such cold T as -15! It begins to be a bit low, if not for your 20D, for your lenses maybe!

You made a great job, i was just hopeing that you maybe had any bonus pics, becouse i love cars to be in the pic not by themselves ( ops: )
I love the car to be a part of the pic...and not that they are the pic

1/30 is usually the slowest i'd opt for; if only for reading it in books that is what is generally accepted as slowest speed a human can keep steady hands... but usually, that isn't for panning shots

about the temp; yes... low temperatures are definately not a good thing; for the camera, or the lens... to reduce any i'll effects, i always house them up in my insulated bag to return to ambiant temp gradually; so as to avoid problems. (it was taking about 1.5 hours in this particularly cold week) the black M5 was when it was the coldest... and also why i didn't try to get a good picture Hace mas FRIO!

anyway, im not to concerned about it for the future; as temps are now up into the 40F range... id guess close to 10 C or so... and its only getting warmer.
