Default A ? for all racing gamers

Just wanting to know what everone uses. Because in real life how many racing drivers actually use automatics. Not to mention if i was lucky enough to drive round the track in a car i wouldnt want it to be an auto, that would be boring as hell.

Manual all the way. Better control, usually more realistic, and more fun.

(Only exception is when I play xbox (PGR2) at a friends house, think its too difficult to shift manual when using the trigger buttons as speed and brake.)

depends on the game. For underground, I dont even bother with manuall. That game's focus isnt on how the car drives, but on how shitty it looks.

For me only manual, because is more funny and if the game is good you have more sensation of driving.

i usually start out with automatic cuz it's easier. it's hard getting used to a new game and having to concentrate on extra keys and shit. once you get used to it manual is the only non-boring way to go, i like it to be as realistic as possible

I usually ease into racing games with autos, but when I get more used to the driving, I go for an automatic (And I usually take off all the drivers aids if there are any... GT3 )

I usually use manual, but there are a few games where I use auto. Can't think of any names right now though .
