Nah - why?
The 612 is ugly in person or in picture.
The 550/575 is beautiful in picture or in the flesh.
we don't need no "in the flesh" to know it's a ghay poser car
|
My friend, you thinking a car is ugly or not is a matter of personal preferences, but calling the 599 a "ghay poser car" is completely wrong. This car has class and sophistication.
But then again, this is coming from a guy that worships the king of all poser cars: Corvette.
|
The 599 may have a powerful engine, but it has been styled for the StarBucks crowd..
And fanboys worship - I drive
|
Lambos are designed for the starbucks crowd, not Ferraris.
I suppose you think you're the only person around here that drives
EDIT: Whats the time over there in Houston?
|
Lambos are for drivers.
I am not the only driver on JW - but none of us drivers are fanboys
When you hear the tone it will be 5:05am...
BEEEEEP
|
Lambos are for drivers? You crack me up!

IMO the V8 Vantage looks 100 times better than the 599GTB.
Anyone agree with that?

u have to admit the aston does look better.
the 599 might be a better car (it will sure preform better) but the aston is beautiful!
the 599 isn't by all means an ugly car but it's not as pretty still it's a Ferrari so it has that going for it

I don't see why you would want to compare the two in the first place, because the AMV8 is just too small a car, so the proportions are completely different. That said, the DB9 or Vanquish would be a better comparison. They're both very handsome, but they're just too similar to each other, IMO, which makes the DB9 a little unoriginal

hey guys,
for me the 599gtb is a clear case of "average on photos - georgious in flesh". I guess its looks depend more strongly than other ferraris' on rims & color as well. They had very different combinations in Geneva and I really liked some while others were disappointing.
But in the end, it was the only car worth going to Geneva for, I absolutely love it, and for a Porsche fan that's saying A LOT

Gentlemen, gentlemen, please let's be more civil.
this forum is a sort of 599 fan club so please only post if you have such heavenly things as pictures of the 599.
I realize not a true fan club but I'm sure you can agree many fans of the car visit this thread often. Certainly everyone is entitled to share their own thoughts on the car, I would simply like to encourage more enthusiasm for this legendary berlinetta.

I see no pictures in your post..
As you can see in the topic it's not a 599 GTB forum but a thread and everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
